In my father in law home, there was an interesting mantel clock that was left by his mother for him when she passed on. I had never stopped admiring that interesting antique mantel clock that was made in the 1920's.

Do you own a mantel clock ?

In case you don't own a mantel clock yet but was contemplating of owning one, you might want to check out this site which specialized on Mantel Clock , the site offers a comprehensive range of mantel clocks.

Hello Kayatan, I too love mantel or grandfather clocks, especially the floor standing ones that 'gongs' or chimes every hour.
I remember renting a room at a matured lady's huge colonial home way back in the 70's. It took me 3 weeks to get used to her antique old grandfather clock's hourly chimes, kept me awake most nights.
But after 6 months got used to it...later when I moved out, I really missed the sounds it makes, (and her too).
They always look nice in any room, just like a grand piano.
You have a nice day, Jamy. UL.

I remembered the first time spending Christmas at a Scottish friend in Australia. I was so annoyed that I hardly slept at all. :).
