When do you start your 1st lie ?

When I look at my son, he looks so innocent and I wish he will remain that way forever. But, that is a wishful thinking ! With an innact sinful human nature, he is going to lie someday, do things behind my back :).

At the moment, he is such a joy to have and is a gift for mother hood because he is always happy and cheerful :). I sincerely have so much fun with this boy :)-

Like father like son !

JJ was a colicky baby for many months. It was hard on me. I gave up a lot of things for this boy :)-. I gave up my IT profession, change career for him. But, it is all worth it. :):). He has grown up so much, so much easy on us now. He is a good boy, sit in the church for service and bible studies ; and a very good traveler.
We flew to see grandpa at Dover last year. I thought this was so cute, like father and son :). His dad is a librarian, so is his late grandmother :). JJ loves his alphabets, letters and book :):).


What are the things you enjoy doing with your father ?

How many girls will pensan for him ?

He used to look a lot more Asian than he is now. As he grows, he is getting more Eurasian looks (thin lips :)) than Asians. Hmmm... I wonder how many girls will pensan for him :)-

Pirate

When you kid started going to school, you have all kind of headaches with all kind of activities that they have.
Today, JJ class has treasure hunt and he has to dress as pirate.
Mama does not have a lot of times to dress him up , sigh, with all my clinical rotation, papers, exams, all I can do is go to Wal-mart (the world biggest retail chain :):)) to get him so custom. I don't think he looks like a pirate, I think he looks more like a Japanese Ninja fighter with all his swords :)

Wiil he be a football player ?

JJ is 4 !

Time flies. JJ is going to be 4 in a month.
We decided to have his 4th birthday today with our Indonesian fellowship. We have about 10-12 Indonesian people who gather together for worship and fellowship every 1st or 2nd Saturday of the month. JJ birthday is next month but we go ahead and celebrate with the Christian brothers and sisters.

We don't give JJ birthday present or Christmas present because we believe we live in a society that worship materials things and we like to stir him away from it. Money is not evil but the love of it is evil. We live in the end day; people have so much and yet they want more & more, people have so much but yet they are ungrateful. They only think of themselves.We want to stir away JJ from this kind of thinking. So a simple cake from mommy is good enough, mommy and daddy love is worth more than 1000 presents.

A simple cake and a happy birthday ! Dear JJ, mommy and daddy pray that you will be a strong man for God, and make HIS will into your will.
