My van breath its last.

Sunday, September 30, 2007

Our van gave up his last breath on Wednesday.

This van was given to us by Lee before he passed on.

In fact, it is due to sentimental reason that we decided to keep the van because we would have saved more money if we had bought a new used car. Lee was very fond of my hubby and he wanted my hubby to have his van after he passed on. Just as well we had a good mechanic friend otherwise this van would have gone to the junk yard sooner than Wednesday :).

Today we went to Toyota dealer to get a new car, this is what we got a 2006 Toyota Corolla :). Nothing to shout about , a certified used car :).Thought I share with you my little toy :).

Genius who changed how we live today

I was very fascinated by this piece of news at CNN today. Geniuses who will change your life.

None but one of these geniuses really interest me because I have always wondered why were aerospace engineers so way behind other areas of engineers. Look at computer, internet, telephone technologies, they have long surpased aerospace technology advancement. I cannot believe 30years ago it took me exactly the same time to travel from New York to Sydney as it is now. How on earth no aerospace engineer has taken any innovative step to shorten the time of travel ?

Well, this piece of research news really cheer me up !
Quote directly from CNN News :

“Thomas A. Jackson, aerospace engineer

Piloting a real-life Luke Skywalker X-wing fighter is every aeronautical engineer’s fantasy, and Thomas Jackson is helping make it a reality.

A scientist for the U.S. Air Force Research Laboratory, Jackson is setting the direction for the supersonic combustion ramjet — aka, the scramjet. By scooping up oxygen from the atmosphere as it ascends, the scramjet eliminates the need for the heavy liquid oxygen and solid oxidizer used by a typical space shuttle.

And once it catches on, it will revolutionize air travel. How does a 2-hour flight from New York to Sydney sound? Or a layover on the Moon? And the best thing is, it’ll all happen sooner than you think. In April 2007, NASA successfully test-powered a hydrocarbon-fueled scramjet engine to Mach 5.”

In fact, I was thinking about this kind of concept since 1990. During those times, I traveled a lot for my work. I lived a jet setter life style because I was managing projects in Hong Kong, K.L, Singapore and Kuching. I was young then so it did not take a lot of toil on my body. However, my recent trip to Malaysia which took me more than 30hours did take a lot of toil on my body which has aged since 1990.

I hope I can live to travel a 2-hour flight from New York to Sydney. I really dream that I get to live to that day.

I am a lazy gardener :). I love the birds in my yard because they send me flower.

I don't know what is the name of this flower, it is small blue purplish small flower. The birds would bring the seeds and planted them on spring and the flowers would grow and grow and they will eventually die in the cold winter :).

This year, the flowers grow even more :)

The definition of friends

How do you define friend ?

Good friends, bad friends, best friends, bestest friends ?

Tuesday I received a get well card from one of my girlfriends from the church we used to go.
Her husband is one of the fire fighters who would be in the 911 team have he not gone to the church on Sunday. His team mates must have told my girlfriend husband about my situation on Sunday.

I was very touch because for me to received a card from her on Tuesday, she must have posted the card on early Monday morning.
I felt quite guilty because she was the one who visited me when I had my baby, brought me soups, vitamins, breast bump and baby clothes. She is a very introvert girl, has a quiet and gentle spirit that attracted me a whole lot. I felt guilty because I had not call her for a long time. I did not even send her a card on her 2nd child arrival !

For some reasons, I am very attracted to people (especially women) who has quiet and gentle spirit. I covert those virtue because I don't have. But, I especially can't stand women who speak with here say, no facts, no figures, oh how I hate it !

I am very blessed to have friends who came along my life and have left beautiful foot prints in my life. Some helped me beyond my belief but many betrayed me beyond my belief as well.

My angels (1).

One of my angels in life was one of the pastor wife in Malaysia. This lady is a very unique lady, a convent Assunta girl, graduated as a registered nurse from UK, married an Electrical engineer. Both of them wanted very much to serve God full time as pastor and wife of pastor. They left their good jobs in U.K and helped a pastor in K.L in a very small home church. They lived a very humble life, their monthly allowances depended on people charity of love gifts. But, She has very fine taste. She is a very generous lady despite not having a lot of material wealth. I remembered never in one Sunday she did not have visitors for lunch in her humble small house in Sedang. When I first met her, I just came back from Australia after many years, she thought I might be Westernized and whenever I informed her I would visit her, she would cook up some very authentic English meal which would always include a Shepperd's pie.

During my back sliding years in my Christian faith, she had never forgotten to encourage me back to the folks. She wrote, she called and she asked people where my about. I had never returned her phone call, never wrote back (but I collected all her beautiful cards that she collected over the years in England) and I had never told her where I had disappeared.

When I finally returned to God again, she contacted her network to get in touch with me and asked them to take good care of me.

There was this thing she did for me I will remember till my death bed.

One day I called her up and told me I am going to commit suicide that night if I could not find $ to pay my debtors. I did not know where she got the courage to do whatever she needed to do to help me. She was able to raise all together RM$250k for me. I asked her " Did you rob the bank, how on earth , you , a home maker, a poor pastor wife (they only had like 10 families in the church and most families are not well to do Indian families, like dock workers, etc..). She said " Don't worry, the money comes from legal source.". I said, :" No, I cannot accept it, you don't worry about me, you take care of pastor and your family." I hanged up and I found my own way to repair my debt. She told me if I accept, she was going to fly in to my town to give me the money. I will never forget this woman even at my death bed.

There are many others but today I only want to mention one angel and Lucifer.

Lucifer.

Lucifer, the fallen angel. Lucifer was a family friend. She was extremely nice to me. She took me to dine in a lot of fancy restaurants, brought me to attend a lot of "who and who in town" fancy parties, brought me to attend the most fancy fashion shows, all expense paid. She even bought me a return ticket from Sydney to Europe but I turned it down. But, Lucifer had never been good. She had planes and she executed them one by one. Lucifer stole my finance and gotten my finance to marry her because he gotten Lucifer pregnant under the influence of alcohol.

I have many Lucifer friends. Some of them I gotten good jobs for them through my contacts, some of them I introduced them friends and social circle when they were new in a new country, some of them I helped them in their school works, but arrrh, what can I say, they are Lucifers !

So, how do you define friend ?

Digital Cameras

Friday, September 28, 2007

Before I used to own a digital camera, I used to own "throw away" camera or you might call it disposable camera.
After I have taken the photos, I will scan my pictures with my scanner and store them in my hardware. The process of bring those photos to be printed in store such as CVS, Walmart or Wellgreen took times and on top of it with scanning and storing on hardware took a fair bit of my time.
I am so glad that they invented digital camera, the old way of going to store is no longer my way of life, YA ! I owned 2 digital cameras, both are FijiFilm.

Today I would like to bring to your attention ritzcamera.com here : canon cameras.

Money, your definition.

This is one of the posts that I have that has no links to what so ever pages, it is as most original you can find. It is seaykopitiamism :).

$ means different thing to different people. Some think money is the source of evil, some think it is the source of greed.

As far as I am concern, money is a source, a tool which I can utilize to do things which I think are meaningful. Things that can have a positive impact on people life.

There was a Christian man in Brunei who has changed the way I look at money.

When I first exposed to his idea, I was overwhelmed, it was so simple but it's very efficient and useful way of looking at $.

When you talk to him about $100, $1000, $1 million dollar, he can tell you in a quantify manner.

For eg. when he talked about $100, he can tell you $100 can let you buy a week of grocery which include :
a. # of pack of rice
b. # gallons of milk
c. # loaves of bread
d. # kg of xx vegetables
e. # kg of xx meat
and so forth and forth.

And when it goes to bigger figure such as thousands, he can tell you how this $xk can be related to setting up a company.
a. # chairs
b. # tables
c # computers
d. # of months rentals

and so forth and forth.

I am a amazed that he knew the estimated figures of all these tangible items (from branded to lesser brand).

To him, money is a tool where he operates his household, his business and his fundings in God works (missionaries).

I have seldom seen a person who utilizes money so efficiently than this Christian man. He has never gotten a loan purchasing cars, houses or even his company. He is debt free from head to toes !

In fact, when I think about his philosophy about money , it relates well to my blogging philosophy.

Why do you blog ? Why do you want money ?

What do you want to blog about ? What do you want to use your money for ?

How do you go about blogging ? How do you go about finding money ?

I see from this man when you find the reason for a, the rest comes easy.

The thing that impressed me the most about this guy was after the Brunei Prince saga , the business scenario in Brunei was really bad, a lot of Singaporean, Malaysian business men 'tutup pintu' (meaning close shops) and gone back to Singapore and Malaysia. It was because the economy was not conducive anymore, a lot of people went bankrupts and many were forced to 'balik kampung' (gone home) but this guy had all the spare cash he had. He bought really cheap cars from the bank because a lot of car owners did not have the means to pay the bank anymore. He got one of the cars for less than 1/10 of its worth and he used that car as spare car for missionary who came by that way so they have a car to drive when they were in Miri or Brunei. He also bought a lot of "lelong" (auctions) furnitures from companies that were going to close shops. Most people and business down sized except my friend, in fact, he up sized his business during those times.

This guy has some how became my mentor about how I looked at money, and how I managed my money.

Yes, talk about money, gold index $HUI has gone up a whole lot the last few days. If this graph does not convince you that gold investment is the once-of-a life time investment. I don't know what and how anymore :).

My car purchase journey

As some of the readers wrote before in this blog that $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ is dipolar. I said $ is good and handy when you need them and it is ironic that $ loves friends, they like company.

Wed : Hubby found out our old van breath its last.

Friday : CHOICE.
I went by Nissan and Toyota's car dealers place at 8:30am.
5 cars were in the short list, from Nissan , Hyundai, Saturn , Honda to Toyota. From compact family car , SUV to Monster truck.

6:30pm : hubby and I test drove 2 2006 Nissan Sentral.
It's $24,495, not a chance of discount.
Both cars have 38k, 46k mileage . We were not too pleased with the amount of mileage on both cars.

7:00pm : we moved on to Toyota dealership place, huge place, even have golf cart driving you around to pick up your dream car.
Sale guy showed us a few used 2006-2007 used certified Toyota family car, ranges from Corolla to matrix.

I like matrix because it is so compact but in term of $/space, it is no where comparable with Corolla.

We decided on the 2006 used certified. In America, this is the standard of Toyota used certified car, here.

We thought it would be good for our 2nd family car. We want our close friend who is a mechanic to have a look at the machine before we buy. Manager said " Go ahead and drive home but I don't know why you need your mechanic friend to look at it, all Toyota used certified car had to go through the whole bunch of inspection, do you think your mechanic friend is better than our bunch of mechanics ?"
I said : "You bet !
The sale guy said "Drive to Las Vagas, you had a full tank."

Did we go to Las Vagas, NO, we drove home and sleep.

Sat : PURCHASE
2PM we drove to our friend home, he checked it, said superb engine, did not even have new paint on it, everything original.

3pm : we went to dealer ship place, asked them to do a few checks :

1. Blue Book on how much this car worth
$17k without all the accessories this car have : sunroof, alloy wheel, automatic car lock and power window, auto cruise.

2. Carfax on who owned this car before.
Was rental car and got auctioned last weekend at orlando.

Manager asked for $15,599 on this car.
I said : "$15k, take it or I walked."

He came back and said "Let's make it easier on the deal, $14,999."
We shacked hand, and the deal is done.
Fill in paper, check our credit and did a loan on our car.
Now I am a slave to our credit union for 60mths. But, you know the next few months, I am going to pay all back with one of my gold stock :).

6pm : We drove out of Toyota car dealer the used certified 2006 Toyota Corolla.

In America , credit rating is very important on one purchase power, if you have good credit, you have power !

Next year, this will bes my car ! Toyota Tacoma.

You see why a Kuchingian love America life so much ? EFFICIENT !

Have we all gotten busy ?

Life is too busy. We forget to smell the roses in front of our yard but we are chasing to build an English garden.

Recently my brother send me an email, I cried. It is so ironic, through my father disease, my brother and I have become closer.

These are straight from my garden and I hope you will smell the roses through your monitor, they smell really good !

Most of the times I delete most forward email but this one I kept it. 2 reasons : 1 is from my macho brother who only forward Malaysia politics jokes to me (which I think they are nonsense anyway but don't tell him if you know him.); 2 , this email relates to me because recently I was so touched by the hospital driver.

I parked in a parking lot that did not belong to the hospital I did my clinical rotation. The parking lot provides shuttle bus only till 9pm. After the time, you are on your own. I don't mind to walk when I get out because weather is not so hot in the afternoon when I arrived. Then one night it rained so heavily (if you have not live in Florida, you really don't know what kind of rain we have here, worst than Malaysian rains). Anyway, I decided to hop on the hospital bus, the driver asked me where did I park my car, I told him xxx street's road side. He said he had to drop off the other passengers before he got to my street. I said 'No problem'. When he drop off the last passenger. He asked me "Dear, where do you park your car ?". I said " Just drop me anywhere along this street.". He said "Dear, I am asking you where did you park your car ?". I wanted to tell him, none of his business but I did not. I said "Sir, it is very far away, at the motel parking lot.". He said: "Dear, I am going to drive you there." I said " Sir, are you sure, it is not in your bus route." He said, " Dear, I am not going to let any of my passengers walked in the rain or in the dark.". I said " Ok, thank you so very mcuh.". He took me all the way to my car and did not leave me until I closed my door. What a man and he is an elderly black man !.. So, don't ever be racist, there are good in black, red, yellow and white and vise versa.

Just let me ask you one intimidating question : Have you taken 10minutes of your time this week to help someone whom you know need your help ?

What are the most important thing in your life if you are to take your last breath tonight ?

Well, this is an email my little brother send me (he is not that little,he is in his early 40's).

T HE CAB RIDE

Twenty years ago, I drove a cab for a living. One night I took a fare at 2 :30 am , when I arrived to collect, the building was dark except for a single light in a ground floor window. Under these circumstances, many drivers would just honk onc

But I had seen too many impoverished people who depended on taxis as their only means of transportation. Unless a situation smelled of danger, I always went to the door. This passenger might be someone who needs my assistance, I reasoned to myself.

So I walked to the door and knocked. "Just a minute", answered a frail, elderly voice. I could hear something being dragged across the floor.

After a long pause, the door opened. A small woman in her 80's stood before me. She was wearing a print dress and a pillbox hat with a veil pinned on it, like somebody out of a 1940s movie.

By her side was a small nylon suitcase The apartment looked as if no one had lived in it for years. All the furniture was covered with sheets.

There were no clocks on the walls, no knickknacks or utensils on the counters. In the corner was a cardboard box filled with photos and glassware.

"Would you carry my bag out to the car?" she said. I took the suitcase to the cab, then returned to assist the woman.

She took my arm and we walked slowly toward the curb.

She kept thanking me for my kindness. "It's nothing", I told her. "I just try to treat my passengers the way I would want my mother treated".

"Oh, you're such a good boy", she said. When we got in the cab, she gave me an address, and then asked, "Could you drive through downtown?"

"It's not the shortest way," I answered quickly.

"Oh, I don't mind," she said "I'm in no hurry. I'm on my way to a hospice".

I looked in the rear-view mirror. Her eyes were glistening. "I don't have any family left," she continued. "The doctor says I don't have very long." I quietly reached over and shut off the meter.

"What route would you like me to take?" I asked.

For the next two hours, we drove through the city. She showed me the building where she had once worked as an elevator operator.

We drove through the neighborhood where she and her husband had lived when they were newlyweds. She had me pull up in front of a furniture warehouse that had once been a ballroom where she had gone dancing as a girl.

Sometimes she'd ask me to slow in front of a particular building or corner and would sit staring into the darkness, saying nothing.

As the first hint of sun was creasing the horizon, she suddenly said, "I'm tired. Let's go now"

We drove in silence to the address she had given me.It was a low building, like a small convalescent home, with a driveway that passed under a portico .

Two orderlies came out to the cab as soon as we pulled up. They were solicitous and intent, watching her every move. They must have been expecting her.

I opened the trunk and took the small suitcase to the door. The woman was already seated in a wheelchair.

"How much do I owe you?" she asked, reaching into her purse.

"Nothing," I said

"You have to make a living," she answered. "There are other passengers," I responded. Almost without thinking, I bent and gave her a hug. She held onto me tightly.

"You gave an old woman a little moment of joy," she said.

"Thank you."

I squeezed her hand, and then walked into the dim morning light. Behind me, a door shut. It was the sound of the closing of a life

I didn't pick up any more passengers that shift. I drove aimlessly lost in thought. For the rest of that day, I could hardly talk. What if that woman had gotten an angry driver, or one who was impatient to end his shift?

What if I had refused to take the run, or had honked once, then driven away?

On a quick review, I don't think that I have done anything more important in my life.

We're conditioned to think that our lives revolve around great moments.

But great moments often catch us unaware-beautifully wrapped in what others may consider a small one.

PEOPLE MAY NOT REMEMBER EXACTLY WHAT 'YOU DID, OR WHAT YOU SAID, ~BUT~ THEY WILL ALWAYS REMEMBER HOW YOU MADE THEM FEEL.

You won't get any big surprise in 10 days if you send this to ten people.

But, you might help make the world a little kinder and more compassionate by sending it on.

Thank you, my friend...

Life may not be the party we hoped for, but while we are here we might as well dance.

Life is to live today not tomorrow !

Intelligent Community Initiative (9/21)

Saturday, September 22, 2007

I love to write paid post for payperpost because they are not only a good master, but I gain a lot of knowledge for companies that I wrote for. Before I wrote, I do research on the company. And often times I have became a customer for the company that I wrote paid post for ! I have a mind who is as curious as a 4 years old event though I am going to be 46 end of this month.

Today I am bringing you a very interesting concept and company called : The Intelligent Community Initiative Website.

I love this concept and it applies to my situation as well. Listen to this : "The Intelligent Community Initiative should be of interest to any individuals who live in communities with populations under 150,000 who have ideas for new businesses, but who have had difficulty launching those businesses, and are looking for "bootstrapping" aid, as well as anyone else who is interested in mitigating social problems such as global warming, high energy and health costs, a lack of jobs, and many others.'

For those of us who do not live in Boston, Los Angeles or the silicon valley, this concept really fit in well.

So, if you are interesting in launching your idea, why don't you visit the site : The Intelligent Community Initiative Website

Millionaire's quality.

If you are my frequent reader, you would have noticed I have added a "books you must read" side bar.

All the book are about millionaires. One of the book I like very much is "The Millionaire Next Door: The Surprising Secrets of America's Wealthy (1996, ISBN 0-671-01520-6) is by Thomas J. Stanley and William D. Danko."

I like this book because I can identify with this book. The more I read this book, the more it reminded me of my dad, who is a self-make millionaire. In fact, not many people knew my dad is a millionaire for he sure does not looks/acts like one or talks like one. We did not realize how much his portfolio worth until recently when he was taken ill. My siblings take care of the financial matter and updated me now and then. Only then did I realized the old man's net worth. We have never lived like rich kids growing up. We worked as waiter/waitress/kitchen hand/factory workers while going to school in Australia. Money did not come easy to us. My dad shaped us to be very independent financially and none of us live on hand-out.

It has never ceased to amaze me on how frequently bloggers talk (brag ? :) about their wealth. Apparently, it seems to me 'bragging' or 'boasting' is one of their means of attracting readers to their blogs. Also, it has never stop to amaze me that people care more about the end than the means of getting there. To me the old world of honest , down to earth kind of working / business ethics is a rare find in this modern age or e-age. It is sad !!!

The 4 major hallmarks of a millionaire next door :

1. Spend Less Than You Earn

2. Avoid Buying Status Objects or Leading a Status Lifestyle

3.
PAWs Are Willing to Take Financial Risk if it is Worth the Reward

4.
Economic Outpatient Care

Do you got the quality of a millionaire next door ?

When do you start investing with the money you earn ?
What are your portfolio consist of ?
Are you happy with your present portfolio make up ? If not, what are you going to do about it ?
Do you know how much you will have in our portfolio in say 5 years, 10 years and 20 years time ?
The next 2 questions are the bottom line.
How long can you live without your present job or the job of your spouse ?
How much are you worth in terms of your portfolio ?

If you are interested to read some of the millionaires books I have listed, you can go to my store.

Grandfather Clocks!

Grandfather Clocks! Do you have one ? I don't but I would like to have one day.

I have a few stories on grandfather clock :).

When I was younger, I used to go study in one of my classmate home. Her family had this beautiful grandfather clock in their living room. I hated it so much because it would interrupt us in our studies every hour whenever it made this loud "Kong" sound. I hated it so much.

When I was studying in Australia. I was invited to a friend whose parent was from Scotland and they had this beautiful grandfather clock in their living room. It annoyed me to the maximum that night having to sleep through my night with the sound that made by the hourly grandfather clock.

However, as the years go by and I have my own family and my own home, I started to appreciate grandfather clock more and more. Many of my friends have their grandfather clocks at their living room and I thought grandfather clock enhance a living room atmosphere which no other room decor would do. It brings a sense of warm, family continuity to a family room.

Today, I am going to bring to your attention a web site that sell comprehensive of grandfather clock : grandfather clocks.

Tight Credit = Higher Gold
The evolving metamorphosis underway in world financial markets is nothing more than the global re-allocation of available cash. The artificial liquidity created by government counterfeiting and accompanying facile lending policies is/was unsustainable, and the collapse of the sub prime mortgage business is merely the first symptom in what will continue to reorder the economic universe.

Does this sounds Greek to you ? It is alright to think so, I was zero about gold investment 5 years ago.Now I started to see the light on this statement by J.P Morgan :

In the words of J.P. Morgan,

"Gold is money. That's it."

My gysy life ...

Monday, September 17, 2007

It has never stop amazed me as how clean Switzerland was and how efficient the customer service in Hong Kong was while I lived in Swiss for 3 months and worked in H.K over a period of 2 years.

While my uncle was one of the vice presidents for Bank Utama in Malaysia in the 90's, I told him if he ever wanted to have a business model for his bank's customer service, he need to look no where than the Hong Kong and Shanghai Bank @ the central district in H.K.

It has never ceased to amaze me about America's marketing , either online or off line.

While walking to the grocery store yesterday, I saw this US$100 note on the street. I thought , oh goodness me, whoever dropped this note must be in panic as the store I was going into was a discount type of store : Save-A-lot. It is one of those store you see a lot of new immigrants who buy lesser brands to make end meet.

I picked up the note and waited outside the store in case the owner of the note realized his/her lost and came back to the store. I had a very dramatic experience in New Zealand airport when I took my a year round-the- world's backpack trip. Auckland was my first stop. My kiwi girlfriend Heather picked me up on the airport. I was so excited to see her because she was the 1st familiar face after I left the place I stayed for over 20years. Nearly 2/3 of the the church which I attended over 15years came to the airport to sent me off. I hugged everyone and did not know when I would be back again to see them.

I cried all the way from Sydney airport to Auckland airport (the air steward was very sympathetic of me, I think he must have thought someone in my family must have found dead or something along that line, but I looked quite young for a widow :):), he kept coming to check if I was alright. He probably had not seen anyone who cried so much in his life. It was one of the difficult decisions for me at that time, to leave or not to leave, to say yes to the Kiwi guy who was very interested in me or went back to Malaysia for the potential Malaysian boyfriend ! At that time, I really did not know if I had made a right decision to go back to Malaysia but then I bit my teeth and went and made the decision I thought was the best. (Luckily I always have very good teeth :):):).

The minute the plane touched Auckland airport, the first familiar face I saw was Heather. Nothing beat a familiar face when you are home sick. Yes, Heather reminded me of my Australia home, we spent many years in our church youth fellowship together. She was such a nice girl, a very easy going nature kind of girl. She decided to return to New Zealand after staying in Australia for more than a decade. Her move had broken Basil heart to many many pieces.

We hugged and kissed like 2 crazy women. After the hugs, I went to the bathroom. After I came out of the bathroom, with my tear wiped and my face cleaned, I told Heather I wanted to take some pictures of the airport. Then I realized my video camera was gone, gone, gone .... I must have left in the bathroom. I was so panic that I felt like I am going to faint !!!. During those times, video camera was very expensive. I think I must have spent a few thousand Australian dollar for my movie camera. The thought of not having my video camera for my once- a- life- time kind of trip made me so sad so sad !. And I don't think I have budgeted to buy another video camera, of course, unless a rich man came to my rescue because he had fallen madly in love with me over the journey, but that was a not even on my mind then because my kiwi boyfriend Warrick Savage face was hunting all the way from Sydney to Auckland :)-. Anyway, Heather said, "Don't worry, let's go to the lost and found counter, I am sure someone would leave it there." . I thought Heather must be crazy, who on earth would return such an 'expensive' gift from heaven ?

I was wrong ! Someone did return the camera. The kiwis were really honest people, I have to say. They were a lot laid back than Aussies then !

This picture was taken in 1990 with Heather in Auckland, New Zealand.

After I returned to Malaysia, I had lost contact with Heather. But, the internet is an amazing world,if you think Heather's face look familiar and if you know the where about of Heather, please write to my email. I will be eternal grateful to your kind gesture.

With that experience, I have a soft spot for returning any lost object to its rightful owner, and that include a male friend to his girlfriend, ha ha ha ha.

Anyway, we need to return to my US$100 note, while looking for if anyone was coming to look for their US$00 note, I opened the note and guess what I saw !

Drug detox

It is not easy to see someone who has to go to detox program. I have seen many Baker Acta' patients who struggle with their detox programa.

There is a new treatment out there which you might not be aware is, that is : rapid detox.

The Waismann Method which is a rapid detox system : rapid detox, is very different from the conventional detoxification procedures which requiring patients to suffer through a debilitating and painful withdrawal, it integrates cutting-edge research in the field of opioid receptors and its significance on the physical and psychological components of opiate dependency. It is performed in the Intensive Care Unit in a Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO) accredited hospital, where an experienced, specially trained nursing staff monitors each patient closely.

Traditional detox programs have a success rate of less than 20% after the first year but rapid detox is proud to say that they have the highest success rate of any other opiate detox facility.

Check it out what the patient testimonies and read what they have to say : Testimonies here.

You do not want to miss this pain relief gel !

Saturday, September 15, 2007

I did not know that open heart surgery can screw up my upper back (from the neck down all the way above waist). Though I got back my heart but my back is screwed, I have to live with chronic back pain. I go to a chiropractor every month to relief my back pain. My chiropractor told me 85% of his patients are post open heart surgery patients. He said when you laid still on that operating table for more than 8 hours, your back will never be the same again. He was right.

This is me after my recent pacemaker generator implant.

My chiropractor sell a pain relief product that is not half as good as "Freeze It" relief gel : Freeze It.

As someone who has chronic pain, I can say I am an expert as far as pain relief gel is concerned. I used many different products but none of these products work as good as "Freeze It".

This is what I do with my back, gently rub Freeze It® on the skin surrounding the sore muscles on my upper back. If you have arthritis pain, massage Freeze It® all around the affected area.

Why do I love "Freeze It" product especially the 3-oz. Roll-on. These are 3 main reasons :
1. Convenient and Easy to Apply
2. Hands Free Applications
3. Ability to Reach Difficult Areas

Now you may enjoy the short video by 'Freeze It'

A big THANK YOU to payperpost

I have been writing paid post for Payperpost for about a couple of months now. And this freezer is a full paid by the money I gotten from writing paid post for Payperpost.

Am I thankful to Payperpost ? You bet !

I would highly recommend all the bloggers out there to write paid post for Payperpost. In fact, not only you get to pay to write, there are a lot of good products that I have written that I become a consumer of those products.
